I have been so busy recently finishing off and making pieces for exhibitions I have coming up in the next couple of months. These are two of my new designs entered into the Flourish exhibition at ConneXion. More about the other exhibitions later!!!!
Sparkling silver, gleaming gold and stunning gemstones form a luscious contrast of texture and colour in the latest beautiful collection of original jewellery designed and made by Deanna Gracie at her studio in Southshore, Christchurch. These four special pieces will be on show in the Flourish group exhibition during May.

This is a pair of koru earrings with an overlay of copper. I use safe locking clasps on all the earrings I make. This is a beautiful wedding band I made for a client recently. It’s a solid sterling silver ring with a cut out red gold koru overlay. Contrasting red gold against stg silver can bring a warmth to the silver and it suits so many different skin types! The client was thrilled with the ring : – )

For the past four years I have had two wild pigeons visiting me each day for water and wheat. I captured them taking a bath in the water bowl and enjoying the water from the sprinkler. They were lifting their wings up and really relishing the bath!

This is my latest pendant design created in sterling Silver, 9ct gold and fire opal. The fire opal is gorgeous and sends out shots of colour when the pendant moves. The size of this piece is 23mm x 70mm and is hung on a 45 cm stg silver omega chain. It is for sale for $325 – The quote imprinted around the outside of the pendant reads
