Featured design #2 is ‘Aotearoa – Aroha’ bracelet – which represents my feelings of belonging and love of the land. It is made of sterling silver, 9ct gold, garnet, tourmaline and measures 178mm long x 22mm wide. Each bracelet component has been cut out by hand and then softly textured for a matt finish. Some of the pieces have been imprinted with Aroha which means Love and Aotearoa which means New Zealand in Maori. I have also used the koru and spiral design as imprints and finely pierced out others with a jewellers saw. The koru design means peace harmony and new beginnings. This piece is available for sale for NZ$950+P&P
